Pennoni Honors College
Pennoni Honors College is the honors college of Drexel University, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Established in 1991 and later named in honor of alumnus C.R. "Chuck" Pennoni, the college supports Drexel's most motivated students through interdisciplinary coursework, experiential learning, and a close-knit community centered in Bentley Hall. Recognized as one of the top 15 honors colleges in the country, Pennoni serves 1,000+ students across all majors.
As an Art Director, there were a diverse range of merchandise and publication deliverables created to support this institution and its students.
Character & Brand Design for Drexel Pennoni Honors College
As Art Director for Drexel’s Pennoni Honors College, I led the development of a merchandise set designed to welcome and engage incoming freshmen. Distributed free of cost during Drexel’s 2024 Fall Welcome Week, the initiative aimed to create a memorable first impression and build early connections with the college community.
Designs for PHC Summer Merchandise
I designed a 15-piece sticker collection starring "Onni," a custom illustrated character inspired by campus life and playful, expressive mascots like Snoopy and Calvin & Hobbes. Each sticker captured a different slice of student experience — from grabbing food trucks to playing volleyball to donning a Drexel Dragon costume — giving the program a fun, collectible identity students could rally around. Packaged with a blind-box twist inspired by collectible card culture, the stickers became a standout piece of a merchandise line that sold out entirely and drove demand for restocks.
PHC Magazine: Honor Bound
A digital and physical magazine curated to highlight college students’ reports and highlights on their academic successes and journeys through the Pennoni Honors College Program. This was published and released in 2024.
Branding for 2024 Drexel UREP Summer Showcase
As the 2024 Graphic Designer for Drexel’s Undergraduate Research and Enrichment Programs (UREP), I developed a cohesive design system for the Summer Showcase, where students present their research studies to a wide audience. Deliverables include a front / back cover, signage and name tags!
